Pricing Suite

Price · own your margin

Connect expected volumes from S&OP with pricing and cost assumptions to project turnover and margin before the plan is committed.

Yesterday → today

From spreadsheet price lists to one live price list

Yesterday
  • Reactive approvals, chased over email
  • Price lists rebuilt in spreadsheets each season
  • Margin discovered after the sale, not before it
Today
  • A live price list built from product, packing, processing, logistics and margin assumptions
  • Approvals routed with the cost stack and history attached
  • Margin impact visible before the price is committed

How it works

Control without friction

One avocado price, followed from its cost stack to the sale.

Build

Build the price from the bottom up

Raw material, logistics, packing, weight loss, promotions and target margin build into one transparent price per product and customer.

See

Role-based visibility

Management sees the full stack and the margin. An account manager sees only the deviation from target.

Move

Freedom band with approval

Prices move freely inside a band. Outside it, the right approver gets the cost stack and the reason.

Promote

Promotions as the bridge to S&OP

Planned and spot promotions carry volume and expected margin into S&OP, to judge whether they protect value.

Track

Realised-price control

From list price to realised sale, every step is tracked. A deviation raises a warning, not a penalty.

Interactive example

Move a cost. Watch the price, the margin and the approval.

A cost-stack waterfall on a packed-produce example. Push the price outside the tolerance band and watch the approval escalate.

Expected volumes come from S&OP; Pricing applies price and cost assumptions to project turnover and margin, then returns approved prices to the plan.

What it's built on

What sits underneath the price

Standard cost and margin policy

One engine, versioned per season, so the same cost stack sits under the product price list, the customer price and the exception a manager is asked to approve.

Grade and calibre carry their own price

A 16-count and a 24-count are not the same product, and neither are Class I and Class II. The price is built against the specification that was actually packed.

Short-dated stock prices differently

The clearance price is a decision, not a discount. It carries the stock age, the life left on the pallet and the margin it gives up, so the trade-off against waste is made in the open.

Every pricing instrument is an approval gate

Price lists, exceptions, promotions and clearance each route to an approver, and every approved price writes back into the plan so turnover uses the price that was agreed.

Business impact

A faster pricing cycle with stronger margin control

  • Less spreadsheet construction, more negotiation time
  • Margin leakage exposed earlier, while it can still be corrected
  • Approvals proportional to risk · small moves flow, big moves escalate
  • A pricing history that informs the next negotiation

The Pricing Suite is in production with early fresh-produce clients. We are not publishing margin numbers from a pilot: bring us a month of realised sales against your list prices and we will show you where the gap sits.

Bring us the difficult pricing problem.

Where does margin leak between the list price and the realised sale? Show us the chain and we will show you where the Pricing Suite closes it.
